《Horrific Journeys 驚魂之旅》擴展包含三個新的劇本，各位調查員本次將前往遠離阿卡姆的地方調查。登上喧鬧的越洋飛艇，登上豪華的遠洋渡輪，抑或踏上風光無限的鄉間火車，逃出重重險境，撥開層層謎雲。各位調查員本次將面對來自大洋深處令人驚駭的兩棲生物與撕破現實位面的異次元生物，同時還要小心行動——一個錯誤的舉動便有可能毀掉他們努力保護的交通工具。他們需要想盡各種辦法擺脫這些險境，無論是舉行危險而又神秘的儀式還是掄起隨身攜帶的行李箱。各位調查員要想到達目的地，首先必須保住他們的性命！
