Quietville 寧靜小鎮

Quietville – A Disaster’s Just Waiting to Happen

Quietville needs a new mayor. Before the people vote, each candidate must govern a small part of this great city to prove their ability. Unfortunately, that’s not an easy task. Quietville sits beside a frequently erupting volcano, happens to be the city of choice for alien invasions, and is a favorite playground of a mutant radioactive dinosaur! And, these are only a few of the disasters Quietville must face! Whoever can build and protect the most prosperous city area, by avoiding or limiting the damage of these terrible disasters, will be elected new mayor of Quietville!

This new edition includes Michael Schacht’s expansion – a set of “Divine Intervention” cards that give players the opportunity to perform different actions during the game.

Since the very first movies, disaster movies have always been a favorite genre all over the world. Alien invasions, huge monsters terrorizing cities, and freaks of nature putting the survival of mankind to the test are just a few common themes. Now combine all the greatest disaster movies and pack them into an awesome little game and the result is Quietville! Play your cards right and you can wreak havoc on your opponents by making them face an alien invasion or a gigantic prehistoric ape go on a rampage. But if you’re not careful, the tables could suddenly turn and you’ll have no choice but to suffer the destruction and devastation yourself!
